Periods 14, & 6, we will have a Reading Quiz on Chapter 5, "A Survey of lLfe in the Sea  This will cover pg. 5-30 through 5-32.  This quiz will be in class on Thursday, February 4th.  You are encouraged to use a piece of paper and take notes on the readings, as you will be allowed to use these notes on the quiz.  Your teacher will furthermore give you bonus points towards your quiz for doing so.  Good luck with the readings and the studying tonight.

Biology Lab - OUHSD Benchmark Test #1 PDF Print E-mail

Biology Lab, periods 3, 5, & 6, you will be taking your OUHSD Benchmark Test this Monday in class.  The benchmark test is 36 questions and covers all materials covered during the first quarter.  We spent all of the last week going over the Biochemistry part of this test by focusing on our CFA tests.  This test also covers materials on Ecology as well.  In order to refresh your memory before the test, I have included a few links below to games that review Ecology.  These games will be played in class Monday, during the first half of the period.  The test will be taken during the second half of class.

Biology Lab - Biochemistry Common Formative Assessment Test #2 PDF Print E-mail

Biology Lab, periods 3, 5, and 6, we will be taking the Biochemistry Common Fomative Assessment (CFA) Test #2 on Wednesday, November 4th.   We took the first CFA Friday of last week as practice for this test.  Remember, all students must receive at least a "C" .  If you do not pass this second round of testing, a third round of testing will be held at the end of the week.  Highest grades will be kept for this test.  TReview your notes tonight, as this will prepare you for this test.  Use your notes to finish your crossword puzzle and the key concept questions tonight.  BEing able to complete both of these homework assignments will ensure a successful test on Wednesday.

Marine Biology - Unit #2 Test PDF Print E-mail

The second unit is finished as of today and it's time to take the fsecond test of the semester  Periods 1 and 4, we will have a Test on Chapter 11, the "The Unifying Theory of Plate Tectonics".  This will all of chapter 11, as well as anything addiotnally covered in Unit #2.  You are encouraged to reread your notes tonight and go back over your graphic organizer which was finished in class today.  Furthermore, you are to finish the "Sea Floor" Crossword Puzzle tonight.  This will be collected tomorrow, but is an excellent way of preparing for this test. Good luck studying tonight and may you have a successful first test tomorrow.  Don't forget to turn in your "Seafloor" Crossword Puzzle, your Graphic Organizer, and your Calendar tomorrow for grading.
